Mathis Lodge, which was created in June 2019 is a pretty crazy project that we invite you to share. Nobody has yet dared to build in this area off the coast, the challenge is so difficult and uncertain - we have overcome it to offer you a timeless stay, which you will not soon forget. At the bottom of the valley facing the beach, our reception awaits you to organize the climb to the lodge with our pick-ups specially dedicated for this 3 km journey which lasts approximately 15 minutes, an average of 7.5% drop, you will be carried away in another world, an authentic and secular Bali, the landscapes will take your breath away as you climb, the road is a bit bumpy, our pick up will go up at a senator's rate, but the reward is soon there - you will not be disappointed ! finally the lodge is in front of you, it is on a magnificent plot of 2 hectares at 400 m altitude on the heights of Amed, in the Léan valley where time seems to have stood still. It sits on the foothills of this valley surrounded by green hills, close to the Seraya volcano which dominates the region and which shelters the famous temple Pura Lempuyang from the top of its 1600 steps. In the background, the village of Amed and the turquoise waters of the Lombok Strait. Electric vehicles with driver allow you to circulate in the 20,000m2 and the 70m of uneven between the top and the bottom of the property. If you want to spend time by the sea, our pick-up shuttle will drop you off there free of charge and on demand during the day. Mathis Lodge, the rooms
The property, made up of 20 individual lodges spread over the 2 hectares of the property, their roofs are in alang alang to best respect tropical architectural codes, welcomes you in a unique natural environment in Bali.
Some lodges are equipped with an outdoor jacuzzi or an infinity pool, to keep you refreshed at all times. The larger ones can accommodate a family of 4 in complete comfort. The refined decoration style takes us into an ethnic atmosphere of East Indonesia between Papua, Sumba or Sumbawa. The materials used are mostly natural between stone, wood, straw and tropical plants. The comfort and interior fittings contrast with the exterior and its surroundings - the bedding is worthy of a large luxury hotel, the bathroom products are 100% natural. The terraces are furnished with a large sofa and a king size day bed in the shade to take full advantage of the exceptional view from the property. A broadband fiber optic wifi is available in the rooms and in the common areas.
